| Maserati MC12
The Maserati MC12 was first
introduced as a production model in 2004 so Maserati could compete a
Racing version in the FIA GT Series. Between 2004 and 2005, only 50
roadgoing were made each valued at around $850,000 USD. The MC12
shares it's Chassis, Transmission, and slightly detuned V-12 Engine
with the Ferrari Enzo. However it's unique external bodywork is
wider and longer than the Enzo allowing for more downforce at high
speeds. Also unique to the Maserati is it's Targa roof which can be
detached on sunny days turning the MC12 into a spyder. The
Interior is trimmed in carbon-fibre and luxrious leather and there
are power windows, but no sound system or radio of any kind. Because
of the slightly detuned engine, the MC12 is slightly slower than the
Enzo with 0-60mph (0-96km/h) time of 3.8 seconds and a top speed of
205mph.
