| Ferrari FXX
The Ferrari FXX is the ultimate Ferrari with
an 800hp enlarged Enzo V12 and a $2.5million dollar USD price tag
that includes technicians on hand to provide assistance anytime.
Ferrari also ships the car to various cities for track events. Each
car is unique with the seat molded differently to fit each driver
and pedals are the exact distance of the driver. The FXX also has
special carbon-ceramic brakes and 19 inch slick track tires made for the car.
There are no rear view mirrors due to the video camera on the roof
that transmits live images to a special display on the dash, which
improves aerodynamics. The dry weight is just 2546 pounds
(1155kg). The FXX can circle Ferrari’s Fiorano test in 1:18 which
bests every other Ferrari including the fast Enzo supercar.
30 of these cars have been made and sold
including a special one for Michael Schumacher which is unique to
the other FXX's by being the only black one without an white strip,
using
matte exhaust tips , having red trim on the wheels, and having his
personal logo on the seats. The 30 FXX's will eventually have
improvements on the aerodynamics, gearbox, engine, and the traction
control systems.
