Gallardo

The
Lamborghini Gallardo was introduced in 2004 as a supercar under the Murcielago.
The Gallardo features an 493hp engine driving all
four wheels and standard launch control.
Over a few years the Gallardo
was lightly updated and now makes 513hp and is a tick faster than
the first model. Prices are now hovering in the $200,000
range. In 2008 the Gallardo LP560-4 was unveiled and with 552hp the
LP560-4 is capable of 325km/h (203mph).
Another special model is the
Gallardo SE. Made in 2006, only 250 units were made. Differences
over the standard Gallardo are minor but there is an increase of
features and some optional features. The engine has minor
modifications and makes 520hp and is a little faster than the
standard model. The LP560-4 is also very different
from the standard Gallardo as it is much more extreme. There are
weight saving features saving 44pounds (20kg) over the Gallardo.
Although it is lighter than the standard Gallardo the LP560-4 still has many features
ranging from an
Navigation system to an complete Leather Interior.
