The new Ferrari 458 Italia is mid-engine V8
successor to the Ferrari F430. The rear wheel drive exotic will
go on sale sometime next year with performance matching it's
rivals: 0-60mph (96km/h) in 3.4 seconds and a top speed of about
330km/h (205mph). However even with much more power, the 458
Italia will be more fuel efficient than it's predecessor. The
transmission will be a improved version of the now familiar
7-Speed dual clutch transmission. For the interior, more
controls will be located on the steering wheel instead of the
dashboard being similar to the Formula One steering wheel.
